Is Acupuncture Safe or Effective?
Yes! Acupuncture is a very safe and well-regulated therapy. It is an all-natural, medication-free approach to healing the body. There are no injections of any compounds with our needles. We use a clean-needle technique which prevents infection and use single-use, disposable needles to perform every procedure.
Acupuncture is highly effective in treating several ailments discussed above, backed by thousands of studies and research in the past century to provide an all-natural healing approach to several conditions.
Is Acupuncture Painful?
Acupuncture should not be painful. If you do feel any uncomfortable sensations, simply let your practitioner know and they’ll quickly adjust the needle!
How are Acupuncturists Trained and Educated?
Licensed acupuncture practitioners are formally trained in a 4-year university degree in both Western health sciences and Eastern Medicine techniques including acupuncture, herbalism, gua sha, tui na, health assessment and evaluation.
How many treatments are necessary?
This depends on your condition, how long you’ve had the condition, and prior health history. After an evaluation of your condition a treatment protocol and timeline will be discussed with you within your consultation and first treatment to determine how many treatments might be necessary to address your specific health state.
